“Sue and Cheryl are awesome! We love their service and will be back (and Don!)”

Symphony_Hill_Autumn_VinesJust like the seasons of the Granite Belt continually change, so to each visit is a new experience where new vintages are released and celebrated.

Enjoy our contemporary, funky cellar door with chandelier and reupholstered red leather 1960s whistle lounge. Savour our strange bird wines that are hard to pronounce like our Royal Melbourne Top Gold medal winning Gewurztraminer or discover our flagship Reserve Shiraz served to the royal couple when they visited Brisbane in April, 2014.

“Hi Ewen, Thanks for the information. We had a bottle of your sauvignon blanc when we got back to Brisbane Sunday evening – every bit as good as we remember from the tasting.

Look forward to receiving a regular shipment!”

Regards,
Ciaran

When we established our vineyard we planted over 40 varieties in a R&D block and have worked with local growers to plant out these exciting new varieties. Depending on the season of your visit you might be able to taste wines like Lagrein, Nebbiolo, Fiano or Barrel Fermented Gewurztraminer.

Enjoy a winery tour through our state of the art facilities and drink in the aromas of our candle lit barrel room.

“Hi Ewen, Congratulations and I’m not surprised (referring to recent success in having 2 wines in Top 100 Wines of Australia). We have been members of your wine club and great fans for many years now since we visited your vineyards. There hasn’t been a wine we haven’t enjoyed but I have to say the 2009 Reserve Petit Verdot takes top billing for me. It’s just scrumptious and I would love to buy a case if it is still available. We tend to take our time opening your wines and have only just tried it. So smooth and rounded, not a corner in sight.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful produce with us. We’re so pleased to see such quality coming out of Queensland. May I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and every continuing success in the New Year.”

Best regards,
Ainslie

Symphony Hill is named from the phrase Symphony of Life where we celebrate everything that makes life a special adventure. With this purpose of weaving a meaningful and rich tapestry into our lives, we adopted a beautiful little girl from China in 2004 and have named one of our wines in her honour. It is our “Danying” Cabernet Sauvignon. Danying is the name the orphanage gave her and means ‘red singing bird’. We donate 10% of sales of this wine to charities supporting Asian orphans.

Begin your escape with us and discover a new world of wine.

Our tasting room is open 7 days a week, 10am to 4pm

We look forward to welcoming you soon!
